It's getting dark and you've not been found. A voice calls out, echoing off parked cars and garage doors: "Ollie Ollie in come free!" meaning you've won. You can come out of your well-chosen hiding place. You are not "it."

This is a blog about Cancer, Breast Cancer, Metastatic Cancer. Not that I don't have other things to talk about.
I would like for other readers with cancer to be able to find my blog easily and I'm not sure how to make that happen. I thought I'd try this.
Hey Nancy--I found your blog on Hedgie's site at Princess Hedgehog Chronicles. I don't know how she found it, but I'm happy she did. I love your post on smoking :) and I love your photos/art. We're all out here looking for understanding, a sense of belonging and a nicely turned phrase. And you turn a mean phrase. Keep writing; I'll keep reading!--Jill
As you might have figured so far, this is not a blog about hide and seek. Nor is it about my pet corn snake who is named Ollie. It's about cancer: living with it, living despite it, living with the treatment, living with the spectre of death and living with the longing for a miracle. If you don't know me, you didn't find this blog looking for writing on this subject. If you do know me, don't take any of it personally.
